I have some flasks, vials and such that have scum and spots from use.

Anything easy to soak these in to clean them?

Toss the glassware in a bucket of hot PBW solution with 1 scoop per gallon and let them sit for a week. Glassware comes out so clean it looks brand new..

If you do not get the burned on spots off, use a magic eraser afterwards.

Good combo

Aaaaaand if any one of the above treatments leaves the glassware cloudy, soak them in an acidic solution (white vinegar/water, standard Star San mix, etc.) and then rinse them clear...

Cheers!

No, dish soap is bad for anything used for beer even pint glasses. It is hard to get completely clean and the residue will kill your head retention.

That's because all of the phosphates have been removed from dish soaps = scale/residue.
