I was about to place an order on the AHS website. Did the price of nottingham yeast just go up a whole lot? It was okay yeast at $1.59 a pack. I don't feel very good about paying $3.99 for it. I think I'm gonna start buying wyeast and white labs from here out.

I too was paying 1.59 a pack for notty the last 12 packs I bought from my LHBS went up to 2.59 a pack just last week much better tan 3.99 but still a dam good neutral yeast that packs real well I use it regularly in all my APA and IPA's
Yes it has gone way up! SO has all the other dry yeast strains! Its a bummer!! Most of LHBS are taking a bath on dry yeast!

The guy at my lhbs (one of the owners) said he just got a notice that the prices were all going up on dry yeast. I try to save/wash as much different yeast strains as I can anyway but I might need to get a couple more packs of mason jars so I can save even more!
I just ordered 5 packs from NB this weekend for $1.60 each
