Just curious, does anyone save the trub or do anything special with it? I normally just toss it after racking from primary, but thought there might be something else to do with it.
 
Not sure if you're asking about the trub, or the yeast in the trub... If you want to use that yeast again you can wash it, save the washed yeast in little canning jars for later use. Good money saver for liquid yeast so you eliminate the $6-8/vial cost per batch.
 
there was a recipe floating around for bread made from straight trub. it was interesting for sure but I wouldnt make it again.
 
SHMBO use spent grains to make great cookies.. I dont think she would like to put trub into bread, me neither.
