I have been asked to bring beer for a nascar event. These people will drink swill but prefer beer. Does anyone have an extract recipe that suits the bill?

I've brewed this for a light summer ale and it came out great. Clean, crisp and refreshing.

Ingredients:
4.5 lbs Light DME
1 lb Rice extract (dry)
1.5 oz Willamette for bittering
.5 oz Willamette (dry hop)
Wyeast 1056 (American Ale)

Procedure:
60 minute boil. Ferment 1 week at 70 degrees, transfer to secondary and dry hop 2 weeks.
I have also used Wyeast 2565 (Kölsch Yeast) with good results.

I'd just bring a couple cases of miller light, it would be a lot easier!

I got this from mosher's book, except that I decreased the hops by 75%. I believe most of that macro stuff has 10 or below IBU's, so this is in that same ballpark but you may want to even drop the hops back even more.

5 gallon
1.057 sg
4.5 abv
13.5 Ibu's

72% pale dry extract (6.25lbs)
11% pale crystal malt (1.0lb)
17% corn sugar, added to the kettle (1.5lb)

4.5g,,,60minutes,,,northern brewer
3.5g,,,60minutes,,,willamette
3.5g,,,20minutes,,,northern brewer
3.5g,,,20minutes,,,willamette

ferment with a clean american ale or lager yeast

bottle with higher than normal corn sugar

I made this one for last summer and it turned out pretty good.

Here is a recipe that comes from Denny Conn. He is an all grainer that said he liked this recipe as a partial mash so well he never changed it. All my BMC crowd thinks this is great beer. It is very good.
