Can you guys tell me if this POT is suitable for brewing? I don't see why it wouldn't be, but I'd rather ask you guys for advice before I blow $100.

It'll be perfect as long as it meets YOUR needs on your stove.

For my particular stove, I chose this 35 Qt one because I needed something larger in diameter (notice it's not as tall) so it would fit over both the front and back gas burners. Now I have PERFECT control over the temperature with the mashing process:

I bought a 30 quart stainless steel kettle at Bass Pro, has a spigot on the bottom too. I replaced the chromed spigot with a 1/2 stainless ball valve and weldless bulkhead fitting.

Worked great this weekend for my first brew in 10 years.
