I have made my second original recipe, but im not sure what it would technically be considered; perhaps an english pale ale, or is american? is it even a pale ale? here is the recipe, so hopefully you can tell me what i should be calling it.

2oz german halertau alpha 4.3
2oz uk kent goldings alpha 5.8
1lb victory malt
8oz crystal 10L malt
3.3 lb amber LME
4lb golden light DME
1 pkt safale 05 american ale yeast

i steeped the grains for an hour at 155f
after the boil started i added all the extracts
add 1oz kent goldings, wait 15 minutes
add 1/2oz kent, wait 15 minutes
add1.5oz hallertau, wait 20 minutes
add 1/2oz hallertau, wait 5 minutes
add 1/2oz kent, wait 5 minutes
terminate boil, total 60minutes

My BrewR app says my og should be 1.067, ibu of 29.3, and a color of 11.7, estimated FG is 1.017 with a 6.6%abv.

my actual OG was 1.060.:mug:

Pretty much made a pale ale.

Very broad category without it being a region specific pale ale but that's probably the best you can get unless you want to call it an Anglo-Germanic pale (which isn't an official category).
