My mom has some super super good black raspberry jelly with a real strong fresh black raspberry taste. Do you think it might work if I blended some of this jelly with water and added sugar and yeast, if it might make a good soda?

We have mixed barberry(harvested from trees) syrup with Soda Water (before making it into a jelly basically) and this worked it was good. I figure if you know how much sugar was added in making the jelly then you can subtract that from the standard amount in a common soda you enjoy and do some math to figure out how much you are making. I bet this would work. The seeds would taste weird!

I never thought about the seeds; I guess I could either filter it or just let it settle out in the bottles.
