small yellow Plums fall into my parents garden from a neighbours tree, about 5 buckets worth. i'm wondering about pressing them, next year for the juice and see what i end up with.

does anyone here make this as a type of cider?

Those are some good neighbors to have, and some good producing trees. Just started a plum wine myself, not really familiar with that type of plum but if they taste good i'm sure the wine will.

Yes they tasted very nice. I'd not seen yellow ones either, it would be a shame not to use them for something. At least I've a year now to plan and make a press / decide how to do it.

I used an immersion blender to blitz the fruit into some small pieces then threw in some sugar and water, I'm sure it would be a better cider if you use only the juice through a press. Good luck.
