Here is a beer that I am going to brew for my wife... She doesnt like real beer. I plan to ferment it at about 60F with the Notty

This is a $14 batch of beer, I hope my wife likes its lack of flavor and body!

Between this brew, my Columbus Blonde and the Standard IPA that is listed on here... I am brewing 3 brews in the coming weeks for about $60!! I will have to buy another keg though ;)

Nice 80F afternoon to brew... just mashed this one in about 10 minutes ago.

My shortest brew day to date... 4 hours from start to finish... including cleanup! Sitting at 62F in my fridge... mmmm beer....

Pretty vigorous ferment going on at 12 hours. I accidentally BURNT through the hose on my 10psi regulator, so I had to use my 5psi... WOW did that suck.... it took the entire mash time to heat my 5 gallons of sparge water. The March pump worked ALOT better this time around and I hit my temps right on. I do plan to continue my Brutus build over the coming year... but I tell you what, this system I have now is really pretty damn nice to brew on!

Wow, it took me a minute to figure out what was going on with your brew setup. Lots of lines. How did you get the thermometers into the sides of your MLTs without causing leaks? Silicone?

No no, I am not that ghetto. Drill a 1" hole with a hole saw... then procure #6 SOLID stopper and drill a tiny hole through it with a drill. Insert the stopper into the hole from the inside and push the stem of the thermometer in from the outside. Been using them for a year, they work great!
