Based on threads here and elsewhere - I've put together a list of parts to do two things - rebuild 12 corny kegs and put together 2 weldless fitting sets. Someone wanna double check these or make other recommendations before I order? I'll probably order sunday evening.

Keg rebuild: Used popular buna-n list that's floating around, substituted silicone.

Links wont work, archive of copy/paste.

9396K926Silicone O-Ring AS568A Dash Number 417, Packs of 5 (Same as 9396K6)
$7.88

9396K24Silicone O-Ring AS568A Dash Number 111, Packs of 100 (Same as 9396K6)
$10.71

9396K74Silicone O-Ring AS568A Dash Number 109, Packs of 100 (Same as 9396K6)
$9.44

(43.79 for enough to fully rebuild 15 kegs, with lots of small o rings left over. I could, of course, go cheaper with buna-n, but may as well do it right... I know buna-n CAN be food rated, but the stuff from mcmaster isn't... The silicone o-rings are food rated... for the extra $20 investment for years worth of o-rings... I'll do it right)

Weldless Fittings:

4464K214Type 304 SS Thrd Pipe Fitting 1/2" Pipe Size, 1-1/16" OD, Cplg, 1000 PSI, 1-3/8" L
$5.55

4830K171Std-Wall Type 304/304L SS Thrd Pipe Nipple 1/2" Pipe X 1-1/8" Length, Fully Threaded
$2.56

98126A79718-8 Stainless Steel Shim .090" Thick, 7/8" ID, 1-3/8" OD, Packs of 5
$12.24

9396K32Silicone O-Ring AS568A Dash Number 211, Packs of 50 (Same as 9396K6)
$7.55

4429K124Low-Pressure Brass Threaded Pipe Fitting 1/2" Pipe Size, .25" Thickness, Locknut
$2.63

4190K61NSF 61-8 Brass Ball Valve Cold & Hot Water NPT Female Threads, 1/2" Pipe Size
$10.69

(62.65 total for two with lots of o-rings left over). Anyone want to comment on MCmaster parts Vs bargain fittings? Not sure what shipping will be from mcmaster - but I know the SHIPPED price from bargainfittings for two sets with brass valves is $48.00, and the valve from MCmaster is NSF rated, not sure if BF's is...

Thoughts? Better buy including shipping elsewhere?

My local plumbing store, read local, has 1/2" valves for $5.65 or thereabouts. I make my own SS washers from sheet stock, a 1/2" drill, and a high RPM rotary with a carbide bit.

stcvalve.com has 316 SS 1/2" Ball Ball Valves for $10.53. I've got (2) on my March pumps. This is also where I got the solenoid gas valves that hooked up to my Love controllers.

Northernbrewer.com has your weldless fittings for $16.99 each. NORTHERN BREWER: Weldless Fittings
I was going to do the same thing from McMaster, but it would have been more expensive, plus shipping. The brass nuts that come with the kit have a ring seated where the silicon washer will sit, McMaster doesn't. I've used the weldless fitting and have had no problems.

Good Luck...

Hrmm... good prices there brew...

I've coincidentally been keeping an eye on ball valves on ebay...

Looks like I kinda got stuck on the whole order from one place thing, and the only

Better prices to be had on the keg o-rings?
