We see threads like this frequently on my cigar BB (HerfersParadise) and I thought it would be interesting see it hear at HomeBrewTalk.

Okay so the situation is that you are marooned on a deserted island the rest of your life. Let assume for arguments sake there's enough on the island to sustain your nutritionally so we're just talking about pure brew pleasure here.

What home brew recipe would you like to have on tap for the rest of your days if you could only choose one? Yes there's a tap on the island.

For me, so far I'm going with my Three Hearted Ale. (Northern)

Tough choice, but I'd have to go with celebration ale. I took this 6 gallon recipe http://www.beertools.com/html/recipe.php?view=6930, got something like 82% efficiency on it and ended up only making 5.5 gallons.. Thus, it's ABV turned out to be 7.6%. I'd probably choose a celebration ale regardless of how mine turned out, but as of right now.. I'm going to have to stick with this one. I'm sure my opinion will change in the near future, but my brews have been limited.

I'd have to go with whatever I could brew on the island, I can't seem to save ANY home brew, not to mention enough to keep me soused for the rest of my miserable deserted life. More cactus grog anyone? Coconut wine? Tree bark ale?

Just one? Really? Just ONE?!?!

Crap.

Either my house Amber Ale, or my Hefe.

Or my Dunkelweiss.

Just one?

:confused:

Budweiser

But only if hand delivered by;

or most of these;

for that matter.

Wow, this is tough... 3 of my beers instantly came to mind; a saison, a hoppy wheat, and a best bitter.

If forced to pick one right now, I think I would roll with the bitter.
