Early today I activated my wyeast smack pack but it never got as big as it usually does. When I pitched I noticed that one of the little pouches didn't pop. So I popped it, mixed it with what was remaining, then pitched it. Should I be worried about this impacting the fermentation? I used wyeast nutrient and it's not a real high gravity beer (1.056). Thanks for the help!
 
The pouch contains nutrient and wort. Wyeast FAQ As long as it wasn't old or mistreated you're probably fine. If the fermentation doesn't move forward within a day or two, then you might worry.
 
Ya, those little packs are a headache. I know one HBS that doesn't carry that line of yeast for just that reason.
