Hard Lemonade with 7-up

We really enjoy the hard lemonade. I have used Yooper's recipe and it is a huge hit. I sweeten with about 3 cups of lactose or stevia and I like to add a little 7-up or Sprite or whatever to the glass, both to sweeten a little more and to make it a little less "hard" so one can drink a little more of it without ending up conking out too early.
What I have been thinking of doing is taking a batch and stabilizing and adding 7-up to the batch while bottling. I am thinking this would sweeten as well as add a little carbonation from the soda itself.
Does this sound like it might work? Does it sound like a good idea or not?

Can't say if it will work or not, but am very interested in the thought.

You could try a couple bottles or a small batch and then we'll all know.

Well, I haven't tried it yet. Need to get another batch going to give this a whirl. I was planning on it, then got busy with trying the Skeeter Pee. Needless to say, everyone loved it and now want me to make more of that! So many things to try....So little time....
