Made this twice down here while living in Mexico.
5 Gallon of fresh apple Juice and 2lbs of Piloncillo (Mexican Raw Cane Sugar) WL English Cider Yeast.
Just keep popping the yeastcake on the top with some nutrient.
The Piloncillo leaves a realy nice dark flavour aftertaste. Amazing
What a drink for the outdoors.
Add a little of the same apple juice to back sweeten some ice, to keep away the skull splitter in the morning.

Made this for the first time this weekend! I'm fermenting it in a keg, and I've got bubbles. Looking forward to trying this out once it's ready.

Has anyone tried oaking this? I made a batch thats identical to Edwort's minus 1lb of corn sugar. I have some oak cubes that have been soaking in Bourbon with a couple vanilla beans for about 8 months. I'm wondering how it would pair....

Threw in fermenter on 7-24, bottled this past weekend. The sample was incredible. Can't wait to try it once carbed up.
