2lbs Wildflower Honey
24oz Raspberries
Fill w/ water
1/5th Fruit Mead (Melomel) Pack
1/4 tsp Fermax Yeast Nutrient
1/2tsp Yeast Energizer
1pkg Lavlin RC212 Yeast

I was going to use Raspberry Honey, but my local honey guy didn't have and I didn't feel like driving 30 minutes to whole foods to get it (and paying $7/lbs). So, I doubled the amount of berries and used water to fill. Without any fruit juice I think i went a little light on the honey, so this one should finish quick and be quite drinkable in a few months. Next time around I'd like to use Raspberry Honey and maybe find some raspberry juice or concentrate to fill with.

It having been almost 2 years since this recipe was posted, how did it come out? I'm quite interested in a raspberry mead, I think a sweet mead with a strong raspberry flavor would have a nice balance of flavors. Any word?
