My octoberfest had finished its primary fermentation at 50 degrees for 3 weeks. Today when I went to check on it and to start cranking down the temp, I noticed that the temp was up to 65 and my fridge was dead. I need to get it repaired ASAP. Will a lager thats finished primary fermentation be OK at room temp for a few days before cold lagering?

Should be ok after three weeks. If it was me though I would get a couple bags of ice and toss them in there just to be safe. I mean ice is cheap and it should act like a giant ice chest with all the insulation on it.

You might want to try throwing some frozen water bottles in the fridge to keep the temp down at lager temps. The fridge should be insulated enough for that.
