i just read that sam adams has released an IPL, India Pale Lager. I was just wondering if anyone had tried this and if it was worth picking up. Feel free to share all thoughts on this if you have tried it. any info will be helpful, thanks!:mug:

I'm drinking one right now, it's actually pretty good. It has a Citra aroma to it, but not overpowering. It has the IPA bitterness there too, but that's not too overwhelming either. Sorry, I suck at describing things. I'd say it's worth giving it a try it if you like IPAs.

Yeah, I've had it and I really liked it. Like a pale ale that's been dry hopped. Very aromatic. In fact I really liked it.

In fact if you ever see the Sam Adams IPA pack, just pick it up. The Baltic is good too.

I had it back in February/March. It's ok. I didn't love it, and like the Latitude better. It had decent hop flavor, but not as much as I like in an "India" style beer.
