Well I searched around in the forum and seen a little bit about it. I am thinking of Blueberries in a wheat.

Can't really brew right now but it is in the not too distant future, and the abundance of cheap blueberries at the fruit market has me thinking.

I was thinking of the following:

5 Gal Batch
6.6 lbs Wheat DME
.5 lb Crystal 40
.5 oz hallertau 60 min
.25 oz amarillo 5 min
.25 oz crushed coriander 5 min
small amount :) fresh sweet orange peel (zested) 5 min

5-7 lbs. Fresh blueberries rinsed, frozen, thawed and dumped into secondary.

either WLP001 or hefe

brought down the coriander and orange peel. would want a little citrus in there to accent the crispness of the blueberries but not as much as a full blown wit or hefe.

Thoughts anyone?

I'm inclined to agree. In beer, I like just a little hint. If I want heavy fruit, I do a cider.

Blueberries are such a subtle fruit that I don't think 5-7 lbs is out of line at all. I used 10lbs of cherries in my Spiced Cherry Dubbel and it was in know way overpowering. Again, it is all a matter of personal taste though.
