I know I can mash now, get me boil qty, and save it for boiling later. I want to mash now, then boil it tonight. Anything I should consider before proceeding? I plan to leave my boil qty in brew kettle with lid on for like 7-8 hours. Anything wrong with this?

I mash and then boil the next day fairly often and have never had any issues. I don't really do anything special, just drain it all off and cover it. I think if there is anything unwanted in there there's usually such a small amount that it won't have a chance to do any damage in a few hours and then it'll be killed during the boil.
