I have these on hand and would like to not go to the brew store.

7# 2 row
1.5# flaked rye
1# munich
.5#crystal 10
.5# crystal 60

1.5 ounces cascade

5 gallon batch.

i also have (one ounce each) amarillo, simcoe, saaz, centennial.

how does the above look? should I use one of the other hops and not the cascade?

how about 1 ounce centennial
.5 ounce cascade

I'd go with something similar depending on AA%'s. I don't have software with me, but I'd likely want to end up with 35ish+ IBU's with this recipe or whatever makes the BU/GU ratio around .70 - .75 or so. That's just my take.

Oh, and I would personally dry hop this puppy as well. Cascades, amarillo, centennial all work well for this. I especially like cascades for dry hopping.

One more thing - I've not used Flaked Rye, but I'm assuming it will not overwhelm the recipe with rye flavor, and will contribute mostly body (and maybe a ton of it, which I tend to like even in paler ales). Somebody with more knowledge of the stuff may chime in on that. A little rye flavor would be really nice though.
