I'm waiting for the post where you tell me you have no kids and you were playing with it.

I will then immediately declare my hetero-man-love for you and perhaps request a play date.

Oh man. Nearly CHOKED on my awesome CALZONE!!!

Hai! How are you?

Love you too. (Porn of calzone to follow)

Funny this thread comes up... I am about to recreate "Blues Clues" out of cardboard for my 11 month old. She loves the show. I'll post pics here in a couple days, I gotta work the next two. I guess I'll learn what Monster High is soon enough. I already learned about new characters on Sesame Street, Blues Clues and how to come a' runnin' if she so much as looks like she might be unhappy about anything....

My kids are all old enough to legally drink my homebrew. If I did something like this for them they would want to take me to the doctor.

What am I looking at?

............
Death star
Haunted mansion type doll house
calzone
scary spookychair
spider webbish hanging chair

This is in no way an endorsement of MH dolls, but they are cooler than barbie. They will be out when your kid is 11.

FYI there are files you can download of various pop culture items and characters. You print them out and fold and paste to make 3D versions. Lots of SW, and ST, and Dr. Who, etc., etc. infinium. Lots of guns and props form movies like Aliens and so on.

those could be cool. No color printer unfortunately.

My kids cried when I threw out the box from my new chest freezer. I did let them play with it for almost 2 weeks first though so I am not totally heartless.

That IS some fantastic cardboard work. It is an often overlooked artistic medium.

I have a 15 year old playhouse that I made from a cardboard box still sitting in my back yard. It was one of those octagonal, plastic lined liquid storage doohickeys (1-1/2 in thick cardboard). I put a base, door, window and roof on it. The kids still all love it.

My last adventure was an approximately 6x8x5 foot open ended box (3/4-in thick) that some sort of air handling equipment was shipped in. I cut a door and a window in it for my boys. I did not even see them again for a few days. It fit perfectly in our front hall...at least a foot on most sides to squeeze past. Wifey nixed it after a week. If I ran this house, it would still be there.

To hell with trying to upload a pic from my phone....%*$$*-+!

Easy brother!!

Actually, uploading pics from a computer is a pita.

What phone? (droid, I, bb)

You have the app....right? Easiest way to upload pics.

I start threads on the laptop, load pics from the app.

Yeah, droid. Just got an "upgrade". I uploaded OK, see the link, can't cut-n-paste....argh!

I don't use the app anymore just the browser. I know I'm doing it wrong but I did drink a beer during that otherwise wasted half hour.

The app is TOO easy to upload.
