what the flax?

Has anyone ever tried using flax as a grain? I know there has been a lot of buzz around flax in the baking world, but didnt know if it ever hit the brewing world.

Thoughts and/or recipes?

i doubt it would work. It is an oil seed. Maybe if you toasted it and used it in a recipe in the same way people use nuts like pecans.
