So my Regulator shows my total Co2 in bottle is increasing. It started a couple weeks ago at 600 psi it has now risen to 750 Psi. I am thinking that maybe in my newbie attempts to force carbonate i may have accidently pushed beer into my regulator. Would beer in the regulator cause such a problem? If i have got beer in the regulator does this affect how my co2/beer/tap function or just render my guage useless?

Since the CO2 in the bottle is mostly in liquid form, the tank pressure is not related to the amount of CO2 in the bottle until you run out of liquid. Has the tank warmed up a bit?
