Ingredients:
6.5*lb Pale Ale Malt
5.0*lb Munich Malt
.75*lb Crystal Malt 20°L
.5*lb Crystal Malt 80°L
.5*lb Honey
1.5*oz Cascade (5.5%) - added during boil, boiled 60*m
1.0*oz Cascade (5.5%) - added during boil, boiled 30*m
1.0*oz Goldings (5.0%) - added during boil, boiled 5*m
1.0*ea WYeast 1056 American Ale™

Schedule:
Ambient Air: 70.0*°F
Source Water: 60.0*°F
Elevation: 0.0*m


Will use single infusion mash at 154 °F for 65 minutes, mash out at 174 °F for 10 minutes


Let me hear some comments guys!
 
Just wondering about the 5# of Munich... not sure if that is a typical amount for an Amber. I like less than 1# of Munich or Vienna in some of my Pales & Ambers.. 5# would certainly be malty. :)

Also, if you want the honey character to come through, I would use 1# mabye a tad more... and add it after the boil .. during cooldown.. to preserve the flavors & aroma.
