beer4breakfast said:1. How old are you?
49
2. Marital status?
Long-term domestic relationship
3. Do you have kids?
No direct genetic progeny that I know of.
4. Where do you live?
127.0.0.1 circa Dallas Texas
5. What is your occupation?
Mainframe systems programmer, and I manage a team IT dinosaurs. Rumors of the mainframe's demise have been greatly exaggerated.
6. Do you smoke?
Cigars and pipes. I'm a major fan of good cigars.
7. What way do you "lean" politically?
Former Trekkie, turned progressive, turned libertarian, now abolitionist, anti-state, anarcho-capitalist. Essentially Rothbardian. There's no government like no government. I am my own authority. I do not consent to be governed. But I still like to read David Corn, the editor of The Nation, go figure.
8. Are you religious?
No. I was once a theomachist, but I got over that and now I'm resolutely atheist. Ethically I'm an objectivist, although not entirely Randian. Atlas Shrugged.
9. What do you drive?
Jeep Wrangler Sport, lifted, Warn winch, rock rails, 33's, 4.56 gears, ARB front, Detroit locker in the rear, etc.
10. What would you consider your personality? (outgoing, shy, bubbly, etc.)
Charming; a paranoid extrovert. I love you. Don't f**k with me.
11. Do you believe in global warming?
I think the earth goes through natural cycles of which global warming and global cooling are part. The present evidence of global warming are likely indicative of that cycle. Humanity unquestionably has an effect on the environment, and that effect is often deleterious. I reject tree-hugging mud-hut groveling Luddite solutions and favor instead the continued advancement and improvement and development of technology to both counter and to reduce the damage caused by human civilization. But, I'm a great fan of humanity, even though I think most people are f**k*d up.
12. Tell us something about yourself that we'd never guess.
As an unpaid volunteer, I catered a small picnic gathering for a local Free State Project group in 2004 at which Libertarian presidential candidate Michael Badnarik was the featured guest speaker. That was about the time that I was coming to grips with my growing conviction that government is unjustified and lacks authority, and that voting is an act of aggression.

Success to you in your venture.
