First AG and I'm already screwing up!
I made a starter last night for a Columbus APA.
Used 1qt wtr with 4oz. Pale DME.
Pitched a vial of White Labs WLP001 Cali yst. Filled airlock halfway
with vodka and set it an area at 70 deg.
It was slowly bubbling this am, but when I check this afternoon,
the airlock was full of wort! I rinsed the airlock and refilled with vodka again
and set in a slightly cooler location (68deg)
I'm brewing tomorrow.
Should I:
1. toss this batch because of possible contamination (vodka or other?) and pick
up a new vial and remake starter tonight?
2. don't worry about it, you'll be fine

I think my errors where:
-should have used 3oz DME instead of 4.
-too much wort in the 22oz bottle (left 2 1/2" head space)
-too warm? (air temp read 71.2 when I found it)
:(
