The New York Public Library has a collection of old menus you can view at

Here is one from 1882 with prices:

On the Wine List page:

Ginger Ale, Imported .25

Allsopp's Ale .30
Younger's Scotch Ale .30
Miles Celebrated Pale Ale .20
Muir & Son .30

Guiness .30
Pippin Cider .30 .50
Russet Cider, Wood's .30 .50

then, below 3 other sections including
"Liquors, Wines and Mixed Drinks", "Cordials"
and "Mineral Waters" is

St. Louis Anheuser .25
Milwaukee Lager .20
Rochester Lager .20
Thimig's Excelsior .15
IMPORTED

On other menus I find things like "Bass & Co. White Label"
or "Bass & Co. Dog's Head", "George Ehret's "Extra" Beer"
"Ruppert's Knickerbocker"....a lost world!
