my day is sort of free ;) Will be brewing. Feel free to stop out and maybe we can have a pint as well. I just kicked my second keg of oatmeal stout... which is a damn shame. I am hoping I will have some of the guiness clone and the Nick danger porter carbed up, let's hope. I am meeting up with my buddy at around 2:30pm, so I will out after that.

Now I am considering rebrewing that oatmeal stout... If I go for a triple brew day.

cut up my insulation for the ale chamber. Tomorrow I will be siliconing it up in between mash breaks.

Copyright - I don't have a nut brown, but I swear I saw a clone somewhere. I like the ithaca nut brown a lot.

sounds good, ill give you a call! right now i dont have anything planed unless my buddy calls me to brew up a batch before i leave! so maybe ill come out and have a pt with you :)

There is a Ithaca Nut Brown clone in "Clone Brews - Recipes for 200 Commercial Beers 2nd Ed"

7.25# UK 2-row
8 oz Wheat malt
14 oz 60L crystal
6 oz Victory malt
6 oz Dark Munich
4.5 oz chocolate malt
Mash at 151
3/4 oz Northern Brewer for 90 mins
1/4 oz Northern Brewer for 15 mins
Yeast: 1098 British Ale or 1099 Whitbread Ale

I think I have everything for this already in my ever growing inventory (except for the yeast). Even for that I'd guess I wouldn't go too wrong substituting soem trust s-04 (and at that a re-use from a previous batch).

sounds good either way. I can totally see the need to jam another brew session in before you take off!
 
lol, ill stop up around 11-12, im trying to get moving.. really not a morning person...

sadly all my fermenters are full so i cant brew (which is sad and good at the same time :p), right now it seems to me that am not brewing today
 
My stuff is picked up and home safe. Big thanks for Cidah and Jhenderson. Next round, I'm all for chipping in for a bag on the organizer/receivers!

Just got home. It was great to meet you and thanks for your and Cidah's work on this! I also stopped to pick up my new skis. I was just barely able to stuff them in my car!

Grain is still in the car, but Mirror Pond Ale clone is in hand!

Yes, long day.
Stopped to get trains. Stopped in Syracuse to visit sorta-relatives. Son threw up while driving on Thruway just before Utica. :( Stopped at Casino exit to clean up car and get new clothes for him. Stopped in Utica for skis. Went home.

Fortunately, no upchuck on the newly acquired grain.

Son is feeling better today. Grain is safely stored. All is well.
