I have a 5 gallon trurkey fryer pot but it has been used for cooking food. Is it still ok to use for brewing?

Also it it is probably aluminum, so do a full boil for about an hour to build up an layer of passive oxidation. I have used a turkey fryer up until recently with very good results.

I've used a turkey fryer for all my brewing for the past year. Just up graded to a bayou Classic to cut down on boiling time, but the fryer did just fine. The aluminum pots are fine, especially after they've been cooked in a few times.
