Hey guys,

Anything I need to know about putting a 1/2'' stainless elbow on my march 809 with plastic head? I'm really worried about ruining the plastic threads. I have two connections on there right now that leak slightly, and I'm worried that if i try to tighten it anymore, I'm going to damage the plastic threads on the pump. In fact, I think I have already done some damage...

If you have any experience or advice, please share. Thanks.

Hehe - Wish I had read this thread before I stripped mine. I do like my brass pump head.

Goddamn that's expensive for one fitting. You can pick up a pack of 10 for just over $10 from Grainger made by Thogus good for 225 degrees. I just picked up some for my LG pump. This way I can screw up cheap fittings that are food grade high temp instead of my $150 pump head.
