I am sure I will keep trying to make stuff as I can to save money in this great hobby!

Beautiful! Spent some time on the DIY thread, eh? Good work. I've done many of those projects. I wish I had some where for a commercial fridge so I could build a STC1000. I like your stir plate.

Thank you all for the kind words this far.
If anyone has any questions on the projects let me know, i tend to over document my hobbies and have too many pictures of each project. Lol

Great looking stuff! The next time my wife complains about my pithy setup, I'll direct her to this thread.

Very cool, neat to see it all in one place I bet!

I like the labeling you have on your mill, lol..."The Shredder"...hehe I built one of those early on and have since upgraded as it was taking too long to mill my grains, but it did do the job!

Kudos sir!

yeah wicked cool to have all in 1 place!
lots of info from this site as well before I posted 1st time...
Thanks for the comment on "The Shredder" get it Grain in "Mash out" ;) lol late night humor I came up with. it fits it well!
It does great at my grains... BUT... I do run through at one size then re-run it thru at one size smaller to crush it more.... If I go right to that size my rollers just spin and don't pull the grain thru so I do once at wider gap them one last time at tighter gap. Goes really quick with the drill and I cannot ask for anything more out of a $15 grain mill. lol
definitely saving up for a nice one someday along with a powered/ controlled / switched on/off option...
keep it real guys! thanks for the likes! makes me happy to see.

All of it looks pretty darn great! I am jealous of your fermentation chamber, and also your carboy washer! Clever, clever you! I suffer from a bad case of abandonedprojectitis.

I got a question for you - I am upgrading to the same mash tun - Coleman Xtreme 70qt, it looks like? - and am just getting ready to build mine. Do you have a copper line running through your SS Braid to reinforce it? Or is the entire S-curve of your braided hose completely loosey-goosey moving around as it pleases?

Just working on drawing up how my manifold is going to work & thought I'd get the story from you on yours. Thanks!

I coiled copper wire around a small pole then fed it into the SS braid to make it more rigid but i may make a rigid manifold in future.

Just not sure if i will be using this when i make my three keg brew stand

So I modified my carboy cleaner.
1 of many future mods I am sure...
I changed the hole size due to the larger size caused too much water to fill the carboy and not drain fast.
Simply made the holes as small as i could and it works great.
