I wonder if I've damaged my first batch of beer?

This is my first try at brewing. The kit is a grain and extract kind.

I put the grain bag into the boiler at a way-too-hot temp of 195 degrees for about 3 minutes before I realized that the water temp should be about 155 degrees. The water got "very" dark almost immediately. I took the grain bag out of the water and cool the water down to 155. Then I put the grain back in for the rest prescribed 30 minutes. The beer is now in the secondary fermenter and it is pretty darn dark.

I'm just wondering if anyone has an opinion on how negatively the 3 minute over heating (ok boiling) of the grains might effect my beer?

The kit is the Midwest supplies "Flat Tire" clone of Fat Tire ale.

Also, don't freak out about the color. It looks much darker trying to stare through 5 gallons than through a pint glass.

It's done for, pack it up and mail it to me for disposal.
