Length of fermentation

How long will my wort typically ferment? And after two days of same gravity readings can I move to secondary
 
Typically it will take about a week to complete primary fermentation. Most brewers don't rack to a secondary fermentation vessel. Primary fermentation and ageing in the same vessel for two to three weeks seems to be the norm form most ales. Also for most ales identical consecutive gravity readings at least 24 hours apart indicates fermentation completion.

So in theory after fermentation complete I can go to bottles
