Before I transfer from my primary to keg I cold crash my carboy in the fridge for a week. Would I be able to just wait for my slurry to reach fermentation temp and re-pitch on top? or does the cold crash alter the viability of my yeast for re-pitching?

The yeast will be fine once they warm back up. However, if you pitch directly on the whole cake, you'll be overpitching by quite a bit. You probably only need about 25% of the yeast cake for a healthy fermentation. With that said, I've personally pitched on a full yeast cake before and it made great beer, but if I were to do it again, I'd probably pull out about a quarter of the cake and pitch that.

you should be able to use it just fine, although I would recommend removing some of it, a whole yeast cake is normally way to much yeast for a batch.
