I'e had 10lbs of crushed grains in my 58 to 60 degree basement for about two months now. They are in the original sealed bag from austin homebrew, not vacuum sealed but sealed.

are they still good? I realize that they wont be fresh, but can I still make a decent pale ale out of them?

They should be fine... and at only two months, properly stored, they're still quite fresh. Unless, of course, they sat around the homebrew shop for a couple of years.

cheers, -p
