I Have a Gallon of HY's apple cider, says its pasturiezed but notin about preservativ

Anyone tried this For hard apple cider?

Does it have preservatives in?

The owner isnt working until saturday and I cant find anything on the net about it...

Please help..
 
if sorbates are not listed as an additive, i think you are ok.
pasturization would have just killed off the wild yeast so you will have to use your own
 
There are no list of ingredients on the label.

I did get it in a Whole Foods store. It only says patuerized 100% Cider....

Hmmm... I think ill wait till Saturday and try contacting the owner...:cross:
 
If the jug only contains pasturized juice & nothing else, that is the ingredient label. Since pasturization kills the wild yeast, there is no need for preservatives.
