Does anyone know if you can use these CPC quick disconnects for CO2? I'm assuming the pressure isn't a problem, and I wouldn't think that they would leak CO2.

They look similar, but not identical, to the ones used by my local craft brewery for CO2. I would buy one set and give them a try, personally.

I use those for my portable mini-keg cooler. I use them for both gas and liquid without a problem.

I linked to the wrong ones there. Mine are gray, so I wasn't sure if they were just for liquid, which is what they were used for before I got them.

I've been using mine for CO2 with no problems though.

I have seen people use CPC disconnects before. I have some for this incase I decide to run my CO2 tank outside the keezer someday. This would allow me to disconnect it at the freezer with relative ease. From what others have said they seem to work well.

CHI, i just shot you an email via your site on specifically which coupler would work best for my situation. Thanks for the link

Neil,
As far as I understand your email:

Coming off your distribution manifold, cut one CO2 line and splice in a "T" fitting:

Use Oetiker clamps for no leak connections:

Run as much hose as you need from T fitting:

If you wanted to have a separate hose quick disconnect fitting, though not required, you could use these:

Either from the T'd off hose or from the quick disconnect fittings/hose you attach a Tank Post quick disconnect:

Which would attach to this, screwed onto your bottle:

OR:
Go to your local tool supply store and get an SCHRADER VALVE air chuck that has a barbed end.
Air Chuck like this (or one with a pressure gauge on it:

Barbed fitting for air chuck: BrassFtg - 05B01103

I hope I got it right, from your description of what you want to do.
Matt

AHH HELL! why didnt i think of that.. the T fitting is perfect. I will use some tubing, a t, and on the extra port, hook up some tubing to the barbed to mpt fitting into the chuck and build my custom carbonator caps. GENIUS!!

Thanks a ton!!! i will verify my sizes of tubing and get my order in!
