Bottled an IPA last night. Brew of firsts. Not only was this one is my first original recipe, it was my first reuse of yeast, and the hoppiest to date. The goal of this recipe was purely to clean out the cabinet. All of the leftover hops from the last years batches along with most if the grains were used. Its shown to the left next to my American amber from brewing classic styles. Blended with the amber, for carbonation, it was quite tasty. I was afraid of a high final gravity, but the repitched yeast from the amber cleaned it right down to 1.012.
