I have always taken a very scientific, mechanical approach to brewing so I thought of the expression "By the numbers" applied for my brewery. My only concern is that sometimes "By the numbers" has a connotation of lacking creativity, which really doesn't apply to me and my beers. The mechanical approach is really more descriptive of things like making sure I hit volumes, temps, etc. dead on.

So I thought to mix it up, all my beer names would play off of common idioms which involve numbers, but maybe spice up the creativity by altering them slightly to be just off the common idiom. For example, stuff like 8th Heaven instead of 7th Heaven, or 5 1/2 feet under instead of six, 4 sheets to the wind (really wild or drunk), Catch 23, etc. Here is a first mock-up of the logo.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ahh, great point. Maybe Pi would be more deserving in the title of a Thanksgiving beer, maybe a Pumpkin Pi Ale?

Thanks for the feedback.

I like it but I would add just a hint of color to the readable words. I think it would make them catch the eye better.

I am planning on making all the words the same style (I think) but just wanted to test out some colors. Thanks for all the help.
