Why do several commercial beers that are hopped mostly or heavily with Amarillo produce a diesel fuel note when the Amarillo hops I buy from Farmhouse produce nothing but desirable citrus and light floral qualities?

Are you getting better hops than the pros or am I just lucky?

Interesting. We treat them with love and care that's just about it, everything else should be the same.

Placed my order and waiting for them to make the hop (get it?) across the il-wi border. Someday I hope to visit the shop too.
