I have been all grain brewing for over a year now (10gal) and have not yet ventured into to lagers or pilsners. I don't have a cooler to keep them in yet but can I use lager yeast at room temp(65-75F). I know it won't become a lager but will it impart some lager flavors as an ale and will fermentation take longer?

"butfermenting", ahh classic. Anyways, I would not do this. Go with a kolsch or Charlie Papazian yeast strains Cry Havoc it is a hybrid and you will get some lager characteristics at that temperature.

Stick it in a tub with water and rotate frozen water bottles.
I did a common @68 deg.Think i may have gotten a lacto infection from the lids i was using, used s-23 yeast. Still bottled it. I tried one early but had an off taste but im shure it wont be the same after a few more weeks.
