Walker IPA brew session

So I decided to do the Kaduva this morning. Being as this was my first IPA I was pretty shocked at how much hops actually go into one. Here are a few pictures from the experience...




Here is the look on my English Bulldog LuLu's face when I woke her up this morning and told her we were brewing...she was not happy BTW.



Here is my holding 3oz of Cascade



Here is 2oz of Northern and 2oz of Cascade



Hotbreak. this this smelled amazing. They should have day spas for men where instead of a steam facial, we have a boiling hops facial.

About to dump the first of the 5 minute infusions here.


Hop Infusion


End of boil flameout. There is probably a good 2 inches of hops on top here.



My hops funnel/strainer. Had to empty more than I ever have.

Well the wort is colling down now and I will be checking gravity then moving to carboy.

BTW what O.G. am I looking for on the Kaduva IPA.

That's also a phe-NOLMENAL beer, still one of my favorite recipes. You won't be disappointed!

Haha, I was like, wow, that's a lot of ho....uh...dude? Nipples. But really, that's some sweet hop porn.

What kind of hops are those on your calendar? They look potent.

I wish I knew...that calendar contains many potent looking hops strands

There should be no place where I walk in and get any kind of facial. period.

can you post a recipe? I have never had an IPA, but I am dying to try one. Thanks!
