I want to bottle tonight and just realized I don't have sugar. Does Safeway or someone like that sell corn sugar? I know they sell corn syrup...

You can use cane sugar, just reduce the amount you use.

And to answer your question, no, I don't believe any grocers sell corn sugar. At least Kroger and Marsh Walmart do not.

How do I know how much C02 I want/need?

I'm bottling Edworts Haus Ale. It's around 75 degrees. 5 gallons.

The drop down menu has the CO2 volume ranges for each style. That beer is an APA so the middle ground would be about 2.5. That require about 4.5oz by weight of table sugar.
 
cool. this is good to know.

but it turns out my girl, despite being sick as hell from chemo, drove to the HBS and picked me up a bunch of corn sugar while I was at work. I loves this lady.
