I grew four plants this year - I know 1st yr yield is low, but I would kill to have that layed out on my table right now.

yes, but I've taken it from several plants... not just 4 :p of course it's much more... I said " I took some" beacouse I think that'a only 5-10% of the hops avaible on those hops trees....

Here what i found yesterday... as you can see it's a bit late for harvest... but i took some just to try it!!

AFter looking at them , i'd say they are in perfect shape for harvesting, they usually have a bit of browning to the tips.
 
Thats really cool man. I wish I could just stumble across a **** load of hops, nice find man. And i agree with bdavanza, they look like they were just about right for harvesting. Different hops become ready for harvest at different times. let us know how they turn out. Make a little hop tea and try to figure out how their aroma and bittering characteristics are.

I said that maybe it was late for the harvest because a lot of cone were arleady yellow...

I harvest only the cones that were still green... but I could harvest even more if I would have found it earlier...

and i have arleady done a Hop tea... :rockin:
