hi, i cant get roasted barely or chocolate malt (im far, far away from any normal LHBS). i plan on the following recipe:

69% pale malt
10% carared
10% carafa 2
8% flaked oats
4% black patent malt
1.044 OG

people seem to love or hate black patent, ive never used it and if im going to make a stout this is the best i can do. should it be a go? im not hoping for an exact roasted barley-traditional taste, but will the two black malts work out to be a bit roasty and coffeeish??
