I made a 5 gallon batch of an AG beer and used to much hops( to my taste). I was wondering what the least amount of hops that could be used in a new beer to blend with that beer. would be a low alpha hops around 3 -5 aa

the beer i am blending has been ages for 6 months, i was under the impression that no hops would cause an issue because hops adds preservatives and helps fight bacteria.

think I will just do 1/2 oz saaz and 12lb 2 row

alright thanks i just didn't wanna go to low on hops and have some issue that i could have prevented i got yeast cake to pitch onto so that should help also.
