First meads

Looking a doing a couple 1 gallon batches of mead. The only yeast I have is safale s-04. My LHBS has a very small (virtually nonexistent) selection of wine/beer yeasts. Can I use safale s-04?

If you can use bread yeast I'd say you can use s-04. But have you tried amazon? Some of these are even eligible for free shipping.

I didn't know amazon didn't ship to canada. WTF? I found this on ebay though:
