Has anyone intentionally brewed a beer to taste like it had hints of peanut butter? Has anyone used almonds or peanuts in their fermenters? Very curious as of to how this would work out. For some reason I think a peanut buttery brown ale would be amazing.

I had a Peanut Butter Porter at my local Microbrewery that was awesome. They used an extract for the PB.

i plan on making a peanut butter porter this fall. i've had 2 bottles of all natural PB in my cabnet for about 6 months. I pour the oil off the top every month or so. i know i won't get it oil free, and may end up with a beer that doesn't hold a head that well, but it was so much easier to just go to the store and buy the PB than order the extract/powder, and since i don't really care if the head is beautiful i didn't seen any problem.
