I brewed a slightly modified version of Ed Worts Pale Ale and I'd like to dry hop it. I got a 1oz package of Citra pellets. Is the full 1oz overkill? Should I do .5oz? The recipe I used follows:

- 6lbs Briess golden light lme
- 1lb Briess Munich lme
- 8oz Briess 2 Row 10L
- 1oz Cascade at 60'
- .5oz Centennial at 30'
- .25oz Cascade at 15'
- .25oz Cascade at 5'

- Wyeast American Ale

Thoughts?

Thanks!

.5-2 in an APA is considered acceptable. I usually do 2 because I like the additions dry hopping gives you

I would do the 1oz citra

Agree with the others! My last APA was dry-hopped with 2.5oz because I love hops. I think you will be pleased with your results.
