I smacked it on Tuesday afternoon, in anticipation of making a starter. But something came up. I didnt get my starter made, and the poofed out pack has been sitting on the counter for 3 days. Since I didnt get to make my starter, I plan to make a "short starter" tonight for a brew day tomorrow and pitch the whole starter without decanting.

Just wondering if this yeast will still be okay after sitting out this long?

Should be ok as long as it hasn't been super hot in the house. They sometimes get rustled in shipment and start "poofing" early. It's not a huge deal. Just don't want to let them get too hot and bothered :)
